This policy explains what data the ecovillageandchalets.me website collects, why, and how long we keep it.
Who processes the data

Contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, we receive what you entered: your name, e-mail, phone (if you enter it) and your message. We use it only to reply to you.
Messages sent through the form are delivered by e-mail via Postmark, which acts as a data processor. The message and the sender’s address are kept by that service according to its retention periods. We keep the enquiry in our mailbox while the stay is being arranged, and no longer than 12 months, unless the law requires longer.
Booking through the website
When you pick dates on a chalet page and search, the booking opens in HotelSync, the system we manage our accommodation with. The booking details (name, contact, payment) are entered directly into HotelSync and processed under its terms; this website neither sees nor stores them. To show available dates, the website reads a public occupancy calendar that contains no personal data.
The home page shows cards with our Instagram reels. Nothing is loaded from Instagram until you click a card; only then is the reel shown from Meta’s servers, under Instagram’s terms.
Google map
On the Contact page the map loads from Google only when you click “Show the map”; Google’s terms then apply to it.
Visit statistics
For visit statistics we use Umami, hosted by Anart Studio, who maintains this website, on its own infrastructure. Umami sets no cookies and builds no profile of you; only aggregate data is recorded: the page visited, approximate country, device type and where you came from.
The web server logs the IP address, time and requested page; this standard log serves security and abuse detection.
The website sets no cookies and uses no advertising tools.
Your rights
You may ask to see the data we keep about you, to correct or delete it, or to restrict its processing. Send your request to ecovillagegreenheaven@gmail.com. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may contact Montenegro’s Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information.
